In addition to my work as a volunteer in the public education system, I am very active in the community life of West Vancouver.  I am a director of the West Vancouver Historical Society. I have been certified as a Hockey Canada coach since 2007 and served on the West Vancouver Minor Hockey Association board of directors, and am past director and president of Cypress Park Little League, now amalgamated with West Vancouver Little League.
